This Spring has been insane (which we are very thankful for I might add)!! Since our last blog post we have entertained 12 Proms and 11 Weddings, not to mention one Trade Show at Dothan Civic Center. Needless to say, we are a little behind on blog posts!! Check out a couple of events below that showcase our Photo Booth. As soon as we track down a couple of photographers to hook us with some crowd shots, we will post those as well. Enjoy.

Saturday morning at the Grand on Foster was great. The weather was spot on and opened the door for a beautiful wedding and reception. The mother of the bride was so gracious of the job we did that she felt she had to write us and let us know. I want to share those comments here.

“I Just wanted to tell you what an excellent job Brad did at the wedding Saturday. He was so professional. We could not have asked for the wedding to have gone any smoother. The bride had the music written down exactly like she wanted it, down to the millisecond and he never missed a beat. Everything was right on schedule! We will most certainly be recommending you to all of our friends. Thanks again for a job well done!” Debbie Bass

Aubie. At a wedding reception? Really?

Disclosing what college football team we pull for may not be in our company’s best interest, so let’s just say when Aubie showed up at this reception I got a little concerned !! Just kidding. Having a college mascot show up was really a neat thing. To top it off, Auburn’s pregame mic guy grabbed the mic to introduce Aubie and he really nailed it!! Congrats to Galen and David! T2 photography handled all the shots and I hope to hit them up for a couple for our posts.

The Grand on Foster Bridal Show

This past Thursday we finished up our “Showcasing Our Goods” time of year with an event at The Grand on Foster. Our Photo Booth was a hit as we had it cranked up for the guests and staff to have fun with. Additionally, we handled the music and lighting for the fashion show that showcased a number of dresses from The Blushing Bride here in Dothan as well. It was kinda tough to play dj and photographer at this event so before we can post any shots of the event itself, we’re gonna have to wait on one of the photographers from the evening to get us some images over. Until then, here a couple from inside the booth.

Marianna High School Sweet 16

Marianna High School has a really cool event each year. When students turn 16 they throw a ball for them in which fathers can attend with daughters and mothers with their sons. It allows for a little break in the school action and also acts a general fund raiser. This year there were roughly 200 guests and, as usual, they were an easy crowd to please. Girls Inc. Father Daughter Ball ’12

We are very proud to be selected to provide entertainment for this great event. As it turns out, this ball is Girls Inc.’s largest fund raiser, attracting close to 400 guests. The evening began with a performance by the Moonlighters, dinner catered by Outback, then yours truly took to the “stage” to entertain a couple hundred screaming girls!! Notwithstanding the fact that my own daughter attends with me, the event was a blast!

Highland Oaks Ballroom was ground zero for one heck of a party. Hannah and Josh forewarned us that they wanted their guests to have a great time and we were selected to provide entertainment for their reception based on what they have heard about us. Here is what Hannah wrote us after the fact:

I cannot say enough wonderful things about how easy y’all made everything. I never once had to worry about anything, the music was exactly what we wanted and all of our guests said it was the best reception they have been to! Hannah

We were very proud to be a part of Hannah and Josh’s reception and we wish them nothing but the best!

Dothan Eagle Bridal Extravaganza

It was very obvious people really liked our booth this year at the show. We cranked up the photo booth and allowed all the brides to be and their friends jump in and have some fun. I really believe having our dj setup there as well with some tunes playing, kept our booth fun. We were defitnitly one of the most busy spots. Thanks to all that dropped in and here’s to a another great “wedding season”.

New Facebook Albums

Check out our Facebook Page when you get a chance. We recently added a couple of albums from December. The 2nd Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party was a smash. We have way too many photos from the event to put em all up, so we went through and selected a few to showcase. Also, Erin & Justin’s wedding on New Years’s Eve at Stoke’s Barn was a blast. We handled the entertainment and the photo booth. What a crowd they were. Congrats Erin and Justin.
